The Gaborone amendment to the CITES text from 1983 would allow us to become a party to the Convention. Gaborone-ændringen til CITES-teksten fra 1983 vil give os mulighed for at underskrive konventionen. The Commission will, therefore, step up its efforts to convince third countries, which have not yet done so, to ratify the Gaborone amendment to CITES, which allows the EU to join the convention.
